angus, polynesian monkies, & other random sundries

My blog title

For those of you who may be wondering why in the world I have angus and polynesian monkies flanking the top of my blog, in the words of Indigo from The Princess Bride, "let me 'splain." A friend of mine and I met at Hardees a lot for dinner, where we always consumed the 1/3 pound thinkburger (made with Angus beef), and we got started on this Angus kick and passed a bunch of cow/Angus related material and jokes back and forth, which ended up with me ordering two of the following posters (see image to the left), one for her and one for myself. They were HUGEMONGOUS! 36 x 45 inches. Mine ended up going up on our living room wall until my roommate said that it scared her too much and wanted me to take it down. Polynesian Monkies: monkies are my favorite animal...go figure. Ever since I was little, I've always wanted a pet monkey. I hear they throw poo though, so maybe not such a good idea :) And one of my nicknames now is Nesian. Just put my name together with nesian and I think you'll understand.

So there's the mystery revealed.
